Countless men and women across Georgia wake up each day prepared to protect their communities at all costs. On #PeaceOfficersMemorialDay, we remember the brave officers who paid the ultimate price for the safety of others, and I’ve ordered flags to be lowered in their honor.

Enjoyed speaking to the Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber today. The Northwest corner of our state is experiencing incredible economic growth, like every other region of Georgia, and we’re thankful for the partnership of these business and community leaders.

In Georgia we value law enforcement. That’s why we again raised pay for state public safety officers and created a peace officer student loan repayment program. This #NationalPoliceWeek, we say thank you to all those in law enforcement whose bravery and sacrifices keep us safe!

Today, we celebrate all the women who proudly hold the title of Mom. Thank you for all you do to nurture, love, and care for us, and for the examples you set as women of strength and grace. Happy Mother’s Day!

Marty and I enjoyed visiting @GoGPTC to celebrate their partnership with @JohnsonControls. This is one of many great @TCSG programs where students receive hands-on training in a high demand career field, meeting employers’ needs across our state.
